Assisting Healthcare Professionals and Organizations Who Strive to Improve Care Quality and Patient Outcomes
Influence
Our ability to effect change in care delivery or health policy depends on our ability to influence—whether we’re trying to convince someone to fund our project, change care practice, or change how care is paid for. Influence stems from the effective combination of clinical knowledge, practical experience, and data/measurement expertise within the appropriate framing of the significance and need for the activities. Successfully synthesizing those concepts requires creativity, imagination, and storytelling.
By developing technical expertise and leveraging creativity and art, we can become more influential and be more effective in our efforts to improve care.
